Another thing, I LOVE lurkers! Just please make a little comment if you become one because its more fun if I think people are watching
Be advised that most of our stories contain an adult theme, even though it might not be enough to be labeled mature. Very direct mature content can be found as well, but I don't keep track of which and what because its all the same to me. This goes for stories and on-site rp as well, so keep an open mind if you decide to read
Thanks!

Nolien stood for a moment and watched Zoale and Whisper comfort each other all the while Nolien stood there cradling a bleeding Zoale. He hoisted him up with a jostle to ensure that he would keep his hold for an entire block.
With a hiss that faded to a smile, Zoale watched Whisper, squeezing her hand when she squeezed his.
Nolien nodded in the direction he walked and headed four buildings down. It was much easier to see down here as opposed to up there. The smog had dissipated before it even hit some of the lower buildings.
The closer they got, the more easily they could feel the vibrations under their feet as they traveled through the cement and rock. Nolien looked at Whisper, noticing how she kept looking at Zoale in his arms.
With some concentration, and more than a measure of compassion, Nolien managed to bring Zoale the entire way without dropping him, a feat to be sure as Zoale was off balance from holding fast to Whisper's hand. To hide the inconvenience was unnecessary, as Zoale seemed far too enraptured to notice that, had Nolien sneezed, he would have hit the ground for the second time in one night.
Whisper could feel the sound before she could hear them. The throbbing of the rhythm was in the ground under her feet. She felt a sense of relief wash over her not unlike the sight of a familiar house when one has lost their way. Nothing reached her but the pounding of the drums that grew louder and louder with each step that she took. Excitement welled inside of her chest and she risked a quick grin over to the others. It had a sobering effect to her excitement. Poor Zoale was all banged up and bloody. "Which one?” she asked pointing to the one with the lit windows. Seemed a good enough indication of Zoale's boy band may be inside.
Nolien stopped short when he noticed the windows she mentioned. "No its..." Nolien became quiet. ...around the back..., his stolen words echoed in his head as he began to move over into darker shadows, easily taking the tethered one without considering her, his eyes squarely on the faint glow coming from a broken window pane.
Zoale leaned on Nolien and tried to peek through the dense leafshade. He could barely see it, and probably wouldn't have thought to look, but there was a dull flicker that made its lazy way into view.
"No one comes here.", Zoale whispered to her.
"No one but us.", Nolien agreed, his eyes not moving from the abandoned building from which he had just come, the building where his bandmates practiced in their secret basement.
"Shan...", Nolien said under his breath with a frown, worried for his house brother.
"What are we gonna do?", Zoale asked in a panicked whisper.

~jointventure ~Here are my joint stories with this lesbian I happen to be sleeping with.
Zoale leaned on Nolien and tried to peek through the dense leafshade. He could barely see it, and probably wouldn't have thought to look, but there was a dull flicker that made its lazy way into view.
"No one comes here.", Zoale whispered to her.

"Shan...", Nolien said under his breath with a frown, worried for his house brother.

Whisper looked from one to the other when it dawned on her just what the situation was. If no one ever came here but them, and they weren't really supposed to be here, then... where was the light coming from, and what was the sound she heard? "I can go look.", she whispered. "I won't go far." As long as she didn't have to try to outrun anyone, she would be fine. Xuri would be mad at her if she didn't at least try to... steal something? She almost grinned. "Just to this window here.", she nodded towards the guys.
Moving as carefully as her legs would take her, Whisper inched along the wall and to the first broken window from where they hid. Peering carefully in she tried to focus her eyes around the light; the less light there was the better she could see. The throbbing sound stopped as the hover car set itself down in front of the open doors on the opposite end of the warehouse. She ducked back suddenly to escape a feeble beam of light and moved back the few steps to the guys. "I think it’s that patrol car thingy we saw climbing up to the roof. There are one guy inside pokin' around, and other out the front way."
“No!”, both whispered in unison, Zoale looking horrified at the idea.

“It’s not safe.”, said Zoale as he clung to Nolien, pleading with his eyes, knowing that if she just decided to walk away that he could do nothing but watch her go. He gave No a look, holding onto him with arms wrapped around his neck, hoping that he would help him stop her, but Nolien had that worried thinking look on again.
"Just to this window here.", she nodded towards the guys.
Again in unison came forth, “I said, no!”, and “Alright.”
Nolien faced Zoale’s upset expression. “They won’t be looking for a girl.”, he said simply, not able to say much else in front of Whisper.
‘They’ were the Vanguard, and they tended to hunt those of the Sentinel, all of which were men.
Zoale frowned, giving him a submissive look before looking again at Whisper.
“Be careful, Whis. Don’t let anyone see you, and if they do, just…act like you’re drunk or something.” His young face was pained. “Just keep walking if they see you. Don’t run, ok?”

Nolien’s brow knit. He had his doubts about what two patrolmen found necessary to do in an abandoned building. He wouldn’t put it past the Vanguard to take such a guise.
Unable to send Whisper packing on her own in a neighborhood such as this, and also unable to release the torn and bleeding Zoale from his arms, Nolien was faced with few choices.
“Ok…follow me.”, he said so softly that it was almost just his lips just moving with barely a breath.
He turned and began to make his way in the opposite direction, staying to the shadows as he crossed the street a block over and ducked into a narrow alleyway.
Zoale frowned, no knowing what Nolien was doing. His leg was really beginning to sting, but he wasn’t going to say anything about it until he had to. It didn’t stop him from making faces.
“I’m going to into the Garage and get the others.”, he said and crouched down with a grunt to set Zoale behind the large trash receptacle. “You two stay here. If you hear trouble, hide in the dumpster or in one of those crates.” He glanced at Zoale’s leg again. The wounds were bubbling. “And whatever you do, don’t go to the Border House or the dorm. It’s the first place they’ll look.”
Whisper glanced over with a slight nod of her head. She dared not speak for fear of being heard but she put her arm around Zoale's waist to maybe help in some small fashion.

Whisper nodded again pressing herself close to Zoale. There were thick shadows here and she could see quite well but still she was scared. The Border house was where she stayed since Xuri didn't want to put her in the school dorms, she thought that she might have to take Zoale there if these people were looking for him. Nolien's words made her realize just how little she understood as they shot down her backup plan. "Zoale, who are those people? Are they the police people you told me about? Security?"
Zoale is still being carried by Nolien.
Nolien smiled and sighed. "I can't leave you out here. You aren't safe out here by yourself. Come on.”
Whisper nodded and took firm hold of Zoale's hand. She didn't want to go with them because she was scared or didn't feel safe; she wanted to go because it upset her to think of being by herself with no Zoale. It wasn't something that she wanted to think on at the moment.

We started it in
Sorry if it seems disjointed!
"That, would have been a sucky ending for sure." She tried to make light of the situation but couldn't help but squeeze his hand a bit with relief.
Zoale chuckled lightly at her sound effects. She didn't do too bad at it, for a girl.
She wiped at the tears still on her cheeks with a hurried gesture. "Are you going to be alright? Did you hit something on the way down?", she asked peering at his leg.
"Probably", Zoale said with a noncommital shrug.
Nolien stood silently, not answering her questions and not really knowing how to. He didn't get suspicious questions too often, although not answering her directly was truly for her own protection. If this were not true, then Nolien would be hard pressed to persuade secrecy to a handful of youths, and Zoale looked at Whisper with eyes beyond one of 17 years.
Whisper looked over at Nolien with a flicker of hope in her eyes. Without meaning to, they flickered down to the mark at his chest once more. "Oh... may I come? I mean..." She lowered her eyes and looked back to Zoale's leg once more. "I mean... if it's ok."
Zoale frowned. "Shit. Of course you're coming, Whis." He reached out to her with a hand as he dangled from Nolien.
Nolien smiled and sighed. "I can't leave you out here. You aren't safe out here by yourself. Come on."

The closer they got, the more easily they could feel the vibrations under their feet as they traveled through the cement and rock. Nolien looked at Whisper, noticing how she kept looking at Zoale in his arms. At SAE (The New San Francisco School of Aesthetics and Expression), where Nolien and the others went to school, kids dated each other so quickly back and forth that it was hard to keep up with who was with whom. But not Zoale. Holding tight to the virginity he claimed and younger than everyone else at the University, he didn't easily participate in the rituals the band observed. To let the drums work you into a frenzy, and then to fall into a pattern of take or be taken, was something Closer to the Bone secretly prided themselves on. Everyone except Zoale, who constantly felt he needed to affirm his prefrences. He clung to Nolien, comfortable to do so, his mind noting that his tanned skin was warmer than the air, warmer than his hands. It always was.
Nolien wondered how Zoale had so quickly found himself a girlfriend. He worried on it for a moment and put it out of his mind, knowing the danger that Whisper could be in by getting so close to a Sentinel Father, another good reason for the Sentinel to bond emotionally to their own. It was always safer that way.
